Tiger Woods wins seven in a row

Tiger Woods wins 7 in a rowTiger Woods won his seventh successive tournament last night with an amazing 24 foot putt at the 18th to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill.

Woods was in a five-way tie for the lead at the start of the final round yesterday. But by the 18th hole it was only Tiger and Bart Bryant in the lead with nine-under-par.

Tiger’s sensational putt gave hime a birdie and with it the Arnold Palmer Invitational Tournament.

It seizes to amaze me how one man can be so far ahead of the rest of the world in a sport that relies on so many different aspects of control.  Taking into consideration the sport of golf is now more competitive than it ever has been, and with it the bar has been rasied in quality of play and equipment used, Tiger Woods is, in my opinion, the best golfer of all time.

Final Round Leaderboard:

-10: T Woods (USA)
-9: B Bryant (USA)
-7: S O’Hair (USA), V Singh (Fig), C Kresge (USA)
-6: K Duke (USA), H Mahan (USA)

He just seems to be getting better and better does Woods when it seemed impossible for him to do so. That was one unbelievable putt for him to win it and he continues to raise the bar for everyone else to follow. For me, he’s going to go down as the greatest sportsman that has ever lived when he finally bows out?
