Colin Montgomerie is attempting to be once again ranked in the world’s top 50 golfers after this week’s Dubai Desert Classic so he can secure automatic entry into April’s Masters event.
The 44-year-old Scot and 31-time European Tour winner is currently 57th on the current world rankings, the same spot where he began 2008.
