One that perhaps will change the way we look at golf and its players. But first, I must applaud Steve Stricker and at the same time express my amazement because I never expected Steve Stricker to be the guy closest guy to Tiger Woods but that is exactly the case as he is now second in the world golf rankings list.

But my point is that now that Steve Stricker has tasted success on what is undoubtedly the most difficult tour in the world, he now has to replicate this success in onther parts of the globe, specially Europe. He needs to expose himself to golf aficionados outside the shores of America and that will be his real test. With golf throwing up so many global stars, it is critical for Stricker to be as successful as he is right now in places like Europe and Asia which should not be very difficult, but still essential.

But as of now, what he has got and achieved, is great in itself, considering this day and age when everyone has been talking about young up-and-coming stars, that a 42-year-old is the one in the prime position for a challenge to the top spot.
